FinnCERES Summer greetings

Summer has been a productive time for FinnCERES researchers. Meeting face-to-face is one of the best ways to promote our scientific advancements and continue to build community and expertise with our peers around the globe. Here’s a summary of our efforts.

TAPPI Nano 2019

FinnCERES actively participated in TAPPI Nano 2019 International Conference on Renewable Nanomaterials, in Chiba, Japan, at the beginning of June. Heli Kangas (VTT), Orlando Rojas (Aalto), and Gilberto De Freitas Siqueira (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, EMPA), pictured left to right, hosted a luncheon talk about renewable nanomaterials development in the boreal belt. The emphasis was on promoting FinnCERES and the next location for TAPPI Nano 2020, the Scandic Marina Congress Center in Katajanokka, Helsinki.
